The PDI Group Acquires Colinear Machine

CLEVELAND, OH and SPARTA, NJ USA – March 31, 2025 – The PDI Group, through its newly formed acquisition affiliate, Colinear Aerospace, announces that it has acquired the assets of Colinear Machine Design & Holdings (Colinear Machine).  Colinear Machine is a manufacturer of complex flight critical components for fighter jets, bombers, helicopters (civil and military), and commercial aircraft. 

Originally founded in 1988, Colinear Machine has been a longtime supplier of flight critical components to Tier One and Tier Two suppliers of major US defense companies as well as directly to manufacturers of civil and military helicopters. The newly formed company, Colinear Aerospace, will remain in Sparta, NJ and will be led by Brian Van De Weert, Colinear Machine’s current Vice President – Manufacturing, who will assume his new role as the Company’s General Manager.
