SPARTA, NEW JERSEY, USA – January 19, 2026 – Colinear Aerospace (Colinear) – a member company of The PDI Group – has achieved Level 2 Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). A final assessment of status for CMMC ML2 occurred in December 2025, making Colinear fully compliant to DFARS 252.204-7012.
CMMC is a framework developed by the government to ensure defense contractors implement proper security controls throughout their organization to protect controlled unclassified information. These practices are based on National Institute of Standards (NIST SP 800-171) and are designed to safeguard sensitive data across the Defense Industrial Base. These cybersecurity requirements include implementing 110 security controls across 14 control families, including Access Control, Awareness and Training, Audit and Accountability, and Configuration Management.
“We are pleased to announce that we have achieved CMMC Level 2 certification,” said Brian Van De Weert, General Manager of Colinear. “Reaching full compliance was a rigorous and demanding process, and this achievement underscores our long-term commitment to protecting sensitive information and meeting the highest expectations of our customers. I would like to thank our third-party consulting firm CyberNINES, our dedicated employees, and our IT partners for their expertise throughout this process.”
