Polytech Defense Spares (formerly Polytechnic Industries), located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA, is a producer of fasteners, small gun parts, gears, light assemblies and other hard-to-find spare parts in support of the US Department of Defense (DoD).

Founded in 1970, Polytech has been a longtime supplier of critical fasteners and failure-critical gun parts to the DoD and was placed on their Qualified Suppliers List of Manufacturers (QSLM), a list of esteemed manufacturers that the DoD deems trustworthy to manufacture these parts.

Polytech Defense Spares Leadership

Eric Miller

President

Eric joined the PDI group through the acquisition of Polytechnic Industries by the PDI group. Eric joined Polytechnic in 1995 and helped grow the company from a small basement distributor to a 24,000 sq ft manufacturing facility.  Originally hired for his sales expertise, he grew to be Vice President of Sales and Quality Control. Today, he manages the operations of Polytech Defense Spares as President, providing the United States Government, foreign governments, and hundreds of commercial customers with quality spare parts to maintain weapons, trucks, tanks, and airplanes operating at peak performance.

 

Eric is a certified lead ISO internal auditor and manages the ISO9001:2015 program, ISO2015:2026 migration, and annual internal and third-party audits. He developed, submitted, and received approval from the federal government for two QSL approvals (critical fasteners and critical gun parts). He is currently actively implementing the CMMC program and certification process.  He has personally designed more thana dozen proprietary designs for the United States Government.
