The ISO Maintenance Platform unit consists of 19 manually adjusted work platforms used in combination to provide a continuous working surface around the aircraft. The platforms are constructed of aluminum and are equipped with swivel-locking casters with brakes, and a vertical jacking system.

The function of the unit is used for maintenance personnel to access the engines, fuselage, trailing edge of the wings, and nose of the aircraft.
